Back to VBS: Impacting the Next Generation

I am a children’s minister at a church that has had tremendous growth in the last four years. It is a smaller community of about 7000 and the church attendance is averaging 600. Many adults who had not been attending for several years are now coming back to the church. They want their kids to have what they grew up with, a church home, and teaching. Many times when asked why you came back at this time in your life they answer because I remember going to VBS…and I want my kids to have the same experiences I did growing up.

VBS does make a difference in children’s lives!

Growing up the only thing I had to do in the summer was to go to VBS. I live in a small town.about 1500 people and 7 churches within a 3mile radius Some kids is never met or hang around with. Vbs gave me a way to find peace and love of Jesus in my heart. God has blessed me. And now allows my to offer vbs again to children in need of Christ

VBS was the first contact I had in knowing anything about the Lord. I really appreciate that first contact and I have been in the church scence every since. It is time to impact our neighborhood and sphere of influence in a mighty way since there has been a great falling away of children from the church.
